Greetings from NW Illinois, U.S.A. !
I am the nephew of Corporal Ronald F. Baker, Company B, 167th Combat Engineers. Corporal Baker was killed by the Germans near Villaines-la-Juhel on August 12, 1944.
I am having problems posting photographs on this website, presently I will post a link to see some photographs of Ronald along with my WWII vehicles. If someone would want to email me at: ill75th@frontiernet.net , I could possibly send photos to you and someone could post them on the website for me. I would also be happy to correspond with anyone interested.
Sincerely, John Wernick

Hi John,
It's really great to have you among us on this forum. Nice to hear about the story of Ronald, this is one more american hero fall for our Liberty in Mayenne.
Could you tell us more about Ronald story. Does his remains were brought back to USA in 1947/48 or was he permanently buried at St James Britanny Cemetery in France ?
Keep on holdin' him in the light thus he will never be forgotten.
Alex
